About Wessex Wagons

Wessex Wagons was founded in 2005 by Martin & Jane Dean, with a passion for creating unique, high-quality model railway wagons.

In 2007, Martin & Jane regretfully decided to find a new owner who was empathetic to the needs of their customers and who understood the regional transport picture.

They were pleased to find a couple with similar views, and in mid May they passed on the business to Bruce & Helen Harding.

In June 2022, Wessex Wagons was acquired by the Yeovil Railway Centre, an organization Bruce and Helen had worked closely with for several years.

As a volunteer-run charity, Wessex Wagons is proud to continue what Martin, Jane, Bruce and Helen had achieved, offering bespoke model railway wagons for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

We plan to carry on releasing limited edition wagons & vans that people like & want to collect.

There maybe some surprises to come...
